The CTC Coalition is split into different work groups, each with specific tasks to complete. Work groups meet monthly for about an hour. These smaller groups are easier to schedule and ensure that the work of the coalition gets done.
Community members are always welcome to sit in on a work group to see if it is a good fit for them.
Learn more about each group and its tasks below. Feel free to bring a friend or family member!
You can find upcoming meetings on our Events Page or at our public Google Calendar.
Fill out a brief form and our Coordinator will contact you to get started.
Michigan Tech and Finlandia University both offer credits for CTC work group internships. Each intern will have the opportunity to learn hands-on real-life skills while building your own professional network, along with experience for grad school applications and resumes. Plus, personal satisfaction knowing you have made a difference in the lives of a community's youth!
Rather than joining a work group, you can also work directly with the CTC Coordinator and participate in a variety of projects. This includes updating the different work groups, attending meetings, writing agendas, maintaining records, providing training, and more.
Please submit resume, cover letter, and work group(s) interest to HoughtonKeweenawCTC@gmail.com, or call 906-231-0734 for more information.
